We were thrilled to host the first-ever Automotive Grade Linux (AGL) Meetup in Tokyo on April 28th, bringing together automotive industry professionals to discuss the latest developments in AGL and its impact on the industry.
The Meetup featured presentations by industry experts, including a status update on the AGL project by Noriaki Fukuyasu and a report from the AGL All Member Meeting (AMM) in Berlin in March 2023 by Harunobu Kurokawa. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the latest updates and insights from AGL. The AGL demo, presented by Kurokawa-san and Ishii-san, drew a lot of attention from the in-person attendees, highlighting the impressive capabilities of AGL.
Close to 40 people attended, half in-person and half remotely. The Meetup provided an opportunity for industry professionals to connect, share knowledge and insights, and discuss the future of automotive technology. It was great to see attendees from various backgrounds and organizations, including car manufacturers, suppliers, software companies, and more.
In conclusion, the AGL Meetup in Tokyo was a great success, bringing together industry professionals to discuss the latest developments in AGL and its impact on the automotive industry. We would like to thank all the attendees, both in-person and remote, for their participation and engagement, and we look forward to hosting more events in the future.
